[Webinar] The New Form I-9: Compliance Essentials for HR
On Wednesday, January 18, 2017, PreCheck will offer a complimentary webinar covering I-9 compliance essentials for human resources professionals. Immigration Attorney Nicole ("Nici") A. Kersey, Managing Director at Kersey Immigration Compliance, will discuss what employers need to know about the new Form I-9 in an informative 60-minute learning session.
On November 19, 2016, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a revised version of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. With the increasing cost of Form I-9 violations for employers, I-9 compliance remains a critical part of the hiring process. Thanks to a new rule announced by the Department of Justice in June 2016, the fine amounts for I-9 violations have almost doubled. This webinar covering Form I-9 compliance essentials is a complimentary must-attend event if you need to become familiar with the new Form I-9.
Even if you cannot attend the live event, register and you will receive the recording as soon as it becomes available.
