This February, we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of LicenseManager Pro, PreCheck’s healthcare license management system. Since its debut in 2005, we’ve been committed to providing healthcare organizations with a comprehensive, streamlined credentialing system to aid in the tedious process of monitoring expired licenses and certifications. Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with our development team to discuss how LicenseManager Pro came to be and how it has evolved over the past 10 years.

Lori McGowan has served as PreCheck’s Client Services Manager for over three years.  She has 12 years’ experience in the background screening industry—seven of those years being with PreCheck.  With over 17 years of experience, Lori offers her team a wide range of knowledge in customer service.  She has definitely evolved “The PreCheck Difference” and defined how we service our clients today.

World AIDS Day 2014

HIV/AIDS remains to be a major global health issue, having claimed more than 39 million lives to date, according to World Health Organization. In 2013, nearly 1.5 million people died from HIV-related causes worldwide. It’s an issue that continues to touch the lives of men, women, gay and straight communities worldwide. 

PreCheck Recognizes Prostate Cancer During Movember

Millions of men worldwide have gathered together this month to help shine light on men’s health issues: prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. Since 2003, the Movember movement has garnered over four million supporters—both men and women—worldwide.

Michelle WilliamsAfter two years of hard work and dedication, Michelle Williams has recently been promoted to Client Account Manager. Her problem solving capabilities and disposition for customer service has enabled her to deliver nonpareil outcomes. The passion Michelle carries for PreCheck and eagerness to advance has earned her place as one of our team’s key players. 

 

 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2014: Remembering Gloria Satcherwhite

Breast cancer has overwhelmingly affected many friends, families and colleagues here at PreCheck.  This year, we lost one of the bravest members on our team to this disease. Gloria Satcherwhite, PreCheck’s Sr. Human Resources Generalist/Compensation Analyst, started with PreCheck back in 2007. Not only was she our HR Generalist, Gloria served as a guide and mentor to many—someone you can confide in when there was nowhere else to turn.

National Recovery Month 2014

Millions of Americans struggle with drug and alcohol addiction every day. Substance abuse is widely recognized as one of the most complex and concerning issues facing today’s society. Illicit drug use in America has been on an incline from 2002 to 2012. In 2012, an estimated 23.9 million Americans ages 12 or older had used an illicit drug or abused a psychotherapeutic medication—such as pain reliever, stimulant, or tranquilizer—in the past month; this is up from 8.3 percent in 2002.
