[Webinar] The New Form I-9: Compliance Essentials for HR

Form I-9 and E-Verify, Human Resources
Marketing Director

On Wednesday, January 18, 2017, PreCheck offered a complimentary webinar covering I-9 compliance essentials for human resources professionals, and the recorded session is now available. During the informative learning session, Immigration Attorney Nicole ("Nici") A. Kersey, Managing Director at Kersey Immigration Compliance, discusses what employers need to know about the new Form I-9.

On November 19, 2016, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a revised version of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. With the increasing cost of Form I-9 violations for employers, I-9 compliance remains a critical part of the hiring process. Thanks to a new rule announced by the Department of Justice in June 2016, the fine amounts for I-9 violations have almost doubled. This webinar covering Form I-9 compliance essentials is a critical training tool if you need to become familiar with the new Form I-9.
