Robert Sartain, LPI
Chairman of the Board
Born and raised in Southeast Texas, Robert Sartain, Chairman of the Board at PreCheck, is passionate about bringing a much needed service to the healthcare community. Settling in Houston nearly thirty years ago working with a major chemical manufacturing company, Robert invested in start up ventures to increase his financial position before founding PreCheck with his friend Glenn Woolsey. After spending time in hospitals and nursing homes with his mother, he recognized the need to vet the caregivers of those we love the most. Robert graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with a degree in Accounting. He believes in living each day to its fullest and enjoys reading, traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
Glenn Woolsey, LPI
Chief Executive Officer
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Glenn Woolsey, Chief Executive Officer at PreCheck, is a true visionary and has never been afraid of taking on a project. Having the entrepreneurial spirit, Glenn started several businesses over the years including a commercial bank, a bottled water company, and a mortgage company, before founding PreCheck in the mid 90s with his friend Robert Sartain. Of all his business ventures, none has been more meaningful than PreCheck’s impact on the quality of our nation’s healthcare. Glenn is an excellent pilot and is a loyal friend to many. When he’s not catalyzing innovation at PreCheck, he enjoys cooking, fishing, traveling, and seizing each day’s opportunities.
Bruce Butler, LPI, SPHR
PreCheck’s Treasurer, Bruce Butler, has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and human resources. Formerly a client as Director of Human Resources for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Bruce first joined PreCheck as President in 2008. He holds a M.S. in Education Administration from Texas Southern University and became a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 1994. When he’s not at PreCheck or busy with his own human resources consulting company, Bruce enjoys golf and is passionate about the work he does for his church for the community. He currently also serves on the Board of Directors for the Resource Group, an organization that aids persons affected by or at risk of HIV/AIDS.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Zach Daigle, President and Chief Operating Officer for PreCheck, has been with the company since 2003 and has amassed over 13 years of healthcare specific compliance, credentialing and background screening experience. His expertise extends beyond personnel qualification screening and monitoring to building transformational and technology enabled compliance programs for healthcare organizations. With a background that includes leading customer service, product development, sales, marketing and operations teams, Zach offers a unique perspective and exciting vision for PreCheck. Throughout his career, he has a history of driving strong organic growth by building exceptional teams and sophisticated technology to solve the industry’s toughest challenges. Zach has been a member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) since 2004.
Vice President of Government Affairs
Tom B. Combs, Vice President of Governmental Affairs at PreCheck, is committed to our mission in healthcare. Previously, he spent over 10 years in public office as City Councilman and Mayor Pro-tem for The City of Beaumont, Texas and has also held the position of Homeless Programs and AIDS Housing Coordinator for the City of Houston. Additionally, Tom served as District Director and Chief of Staff for two members of Congress and has extensive experience in minority, women, and disadvantaged contractor outreach programs. He also owns his own firm, Tom Combs & Associates, which specializes in local, state, and federal contract negotiations. In his downtime, Tom enjoys traveling and loves spending as much time as he can with his grandchildren.
Vu Do, CCEP
Vice President of Compliance
With over ten years’ experience in the background screening industry, as PreCheck’s Vice President of Compliance, Vu Do focuses on the organization’s operational compliance as well as client and staff education. Vu is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and is a past board member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners, where she remains active on the Best Practices and Government Relations committees. She earned both her B.A. in English and French, summa cum laude, as well as her M.A. in Literature from the University of Houston. Vu enjoys cooking, fitness, routinely indulging her sweet tooth (hence the need for fitness), and spending time with her boys, future compliance professionals… or game developers.
Vice President of Product Strategy
With more than thirteen years’ experience in leadership roles in the background screening industry, Debbie Klarfeld joined the PreCheck family in 2015 as Vice President of Product Strategy. In her role, Debbie focuses on working with the Product Management team to drive PreCheck’s strategic growth while enhancing our full suite of employment qualification and monitoring services for healthcare organizations. Debbie earned a BS of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and earned her MBA in Management and Marketing from the University of Tulsa. When she is not working to provide PreCheck’s clients with the highest quality information possible to improve the quality of healthcare, Debbie enjoys traveling domestically and internationally with her husband, Jair.
Vice President of Operations
PreCheck’s Vice President of Operations, Dana Sangerhausen, has been with the company for over 15 years, starting her career in Client Services before briefly joining our Product Management team. Today she spends her time between our Texas and New Mexico offices focusing on process improvement and superior client experience. Dana is a native Houstonian who loves seeing the world through her son’s eyes, trying out the latest restaurant that’s opened, or supporting the hometown team at Minute Maid Park during baseball season (when they’re playing well, that is).
Executive Director of Information Technology
Vinh Nguyen has over twelve years of experience in Information Technology (IT) with a focus in infrastructure, security, and planning. In addition to his work experience, he graduated with honors in Engineering Route to Business from The University of Texas at Austin and earned an MBA from the University of Houston. As Executive Director of Information Technology, Vinh plans to leverage his background to help PreCheck support their products and services with valuable, forward thinking technologies. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports like flag football with his wife, although he is learning he needs to move on to a less active sport, and trying new restaurants around town.
Before joining the PreCheck team, Kate Vessey was VP of Legal Services and Regional Manager of the Seattle office for Hawes Financial Group and Professional Credit Service, financial services companies that also serve healthcare clients. She attended the University of Oregon in Eugene where she was a member of the Clark Honors College (Go DUCKS!), and completed Law School at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon where she also worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Judicial Department. Kate is a military spouse and pleased to be a part of the PreCheck team in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
René Hatfield, PHR, SHRM-CP
With more than 15 years in the Human Resources field, René Hatfield, Human Resources Director, brings to PreCheck a passion for developing and engaging people to meet the organization’s strategic goals. René has been a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2010. She is involved with local, regional and state volunteer organizations, including the Otero County Economic Development Council in Alamogordo, NM, and Eastern Area Workforce Development Board. She has been married for over 20 years and is a proud mother of three beautiful children—two sons (a U.S. Navy member and a college junior) and a daughter, a very active junior in High School.
Rick Dittamore, CPA
Controller, Accounting and Finance
A financial professional with more than 35 years’ experience in management roles across various industries, Rick Dittamore joined the PreCheck family in 2015 as Controller for our Accounting and Finance department. In his role, Rick focuses on process improvement and is a respected and influential member of the leadership team. He earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida. In true PreCheck fashion, Rick is also a Licensed Private Investigator (LPI) as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas.
Client Services Manger
Brian Silver, Client Services Manager, has over 15 years of experience in client services and in team leadership roles. He joined PreCheck in 2016 with the goal of continuing to grow and develop our client services team. Brian previously led teams at various firms including JP Morgan. His experience in strategy, leadership, relationship-building, and client consultation will help PreCheck continue to provide industry leading service to our clients.

Brent Gibbons joined PreCheck’s Sales team in 2012 and has managed the Southern United States territory since joining the company. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing at Texas State University in 2008. Business Development Manager - Western U.S.
A Chicago-native, Donna Gilbert now hails from the sophisticated city of Dallas, Texas. She earned a B.S. in Business Management, with Honors, from the University of Phoenix. Donna began her career in healthcare compliance originating in the pharmaceutical industry, in which she helped develop a database in order to identify fraud. She possesses over ten years of experience within the healthcare compliance industry and has a passion for navigating ever-changing industry regulations and keeping her clients educated and informed. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading and attending sporting events – with hockey being her all-time favorite.
Business Development Manager - North Eastern & Mid-Atlantic U.S.
With over twelve years’ experience in the sales and healthcare industry, Julie Foxworth became a part of the PreCheck family in 2008. Julie is a Business Development Manager for the North Eastern and Mid-Atlantic U.S. and is dedicated to providing complete customer satisfaction to each and every one of her clients. Julie makes it a priority to make every account feel special regardless of size. She has a passion for healthcare and strives to keep her clients compliant with the industry’s regulations. Julie is a native Texan who attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a B.A. in Communications. She loves to travel and meet new people, which made the Northeastern U.S. a great fit. College football (especially UT), Gulf seafood, and Galveston beaches are a few of her favorite things.

A Philadelphia native, Mike earned his undergraduate degree in business administration at Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from Widener University Law School. Over the past few years at PreCheck, Mike’s analytical and consultative abilities have allowed him to assist healthcare administrators in creating custom solutions for managing today’s vast compliance requirements and creating a safe and secure workplace environment. As Business Development Manager for the Southeast region, Sam Beard is sharply focused on providing the most advanced solutions to meet his clients’s unique needs. Sam has been a part of the PreCheck family since 2010, developing a strong understanding of the constantly evolving healthcare landscape and how PreCheck’s solutions can help. Sam graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s in Communication and his entire career has been focused in B2B. Greg Gebhardt, LPI
Vice President of HCA Client Relations
Greg Gebhardt is dedicated to serving HCA and other HealthTrust members by promoting and nurturing the congruous relationship between them and PreCheck. With over 35 years of service management and marketing experience, Greg brings a broad range of skills that include serving as PreCheck’s chief pilot. For 25 years Greg served as the CEO of a Texas-based investigative corporation specializing in corporate loss and intellectual property investigations. Greg has a passion for aviation and serves as a flight instructor at a local flight school on weekends.
Business Development Manager - StudentCheck
Christine Williams, Business Development Manager - StudentCheck, is the current Sales Representative for all StudentCheck services. She began her career with PreCheck in 2014 and is passionate about providing criminal background check, drug testing, and immunization tracking services to colleges and universities across the nation. Christine earned her B.S. in Education and graduated with honors from The University of Finlay. In her spare time, Christine enjoys being outside and working out at her local CrossFit gym. Sales Support Specialist
Chelsea Rivers joined the PreCheck team in 2016 as the Sales Support Specialist. She strongly believes in the PreCheck mission and strives daily to help advance the quality of healthcare. She is dedicated to providing clients with the most accurate and thorough information involving PreCheck’s suite of solutions. She earned her B.S. degree in Geology from Texas A&M University in 2013. Cristina Loayza started her career with PreCheck in 2008 as a coordinator for the sales team. Through the years, Cristina exposed herself to all of what PreCheck had to offer and this gave her a unique perspective on her current role as a product manager for several PreCheck services. Cristina currently manages sanction screening and drug and occupational health testing solutions. Her days involve participation in the different aspects of a successful product including product development, marketing, operations and client support. Cristina earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. She enjoys great conversations with friends, binge-watching with her husband, and weekend adventures with her young daughter.
Dionne Austin, CPCS
Director of Credentialing Programs
As Director of Credentialing Programs, Dionne currently serves as Product Manager for PreCheck’s healthcare license management system, LicenseManager Pro. Over ten years of work experience in various roles at PreCheck is a great foundation for her current work with LicenseManager Pro. She continues to educate herself by completing industry specific training programs such as the Det Norske Veritas NIAHO Training Program. Dionne holds a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A) in Business from Houston Community College. She is passionate about LicenseManager Pro and has a great vision for the exponential evolution of the product. Dionne is the proud mother of two handsome sons. The youngest of the two will be a freshman at Texas State in the Fall of 2016. She has big plans to explore the globe as a newly crowned empty-nester.
Principal Consultant for Sanction Screening
With over fifteen years’ experience in the exclusion screening industry, Frank serves as PreCheck’s Principal Consultant for Sanction Screening. In his role, Frank works closely with the PreCheck team as a presenter, focusing on educating clients on the exclusion screening process. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Lamar University, Beaumont and has over 25 years of process, safety and compliance management experience. Frank enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and watching Jeopardy and the History Channel.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Ryan Trevino is a PreCheck seasoned veteran with over a decade of experience. He is one of our Product Managers who oversees background screening, including our StudentCheck solution for student background checks, and our employment verification service, EmployCheck. As Product Manager, Ryan is primarily focused on ensuring PreCheck’s background screening services for HR departments and clinical education programs meet and exceed healthcare’s constantly evolving industry standards. In his time away from the office, Ryan enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending time with his son.

With over ten years’ experience in the background screening industry, Bryan Barajas is passionate about his role as PreCheck’s Marketing Director. With his award winning team, Bryan oversees PreCheck’s educational content such as blog articles, newsletters, webinars, and white papers, including original industry research. He earned his B.A. degree in Psychology from Rice University in 2009 and has been a Salesforce Certified Administrator since 2015. When he is not in the office or covering the latest healthcare or HR conference, Bryan enjoys singing, attending concerts, traveling and visiting his family in Mexico, playing Final Fantasy video games, or any combination thereof.
As PreCheck’s Marketing Specialist, Antique Nguyen plays a key role in managing the company’s digital content, developing brand messaging, and executing marketing campaigns. Antique is an Inbound Marketing certified professional with experience in content marketing and social media strategy and engagement. He studied at the University of Houston and earned his B.A. in Public Relations, magna cum laude. When he is not curating content or planning tweets, you can find him working out at the park, binge watching his favorite shows on Netflix, or you may even run into him at outdoor music festivals and concerts.
Associate Creative Director
Working in the graphic design field since 2006, Gracie Martinez joined the PreCheck family in 2009. As PreCheck’s Associate Creative Director, Gracie plays a key role in establishing the PreCheck brand and positioning its growing suite of solutions. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston. Gracie is a huge San Antonio Spurs fan and a lover of all animals, big and small.
